It’s been reported that he quit on the team in the playoffs and he’s also a diva.
The team announced he has bruised ribs, some people said he had fractured ribs and couldn't sleep/raise his arm without pain. Who knows.

He did miss like 3 months with a fractured finger on his non-shooting hand last year, he seems to take a long time to recover

I, for one, welcome our new space overlords.
They've already peaked as a team, and as individual players for the most part.

There is no "untapped potential waiting to be unleashed". They are who they are.....regardless of who the coach is.
True. New coach is not going to make Darius Garland make the open 3s he missed all post season.

Moves like these always come with huge risk of regressing. You might be removing the piece that was making everything click.

I thought Jarret Allen's injury was unfortunate. He could have made a difference against the Celtics. Too bad.
To get Mitchell to re-sign, firing had to happen. That means letting JBB go is an auto win

Team needs a roster change to advance farther, not a coaching change.
You can't win with two undersized guards, Need perimeter d.
Plus their slim bigs are only suited for small ball teams.
