There's a difference between "teams" missing layups, and the bunnies that the Warriors missed. You saw all those uncontested shots at the rim they usually make. I counted about 4-5 in the first half. That would've brought their FG% up to 47%, and even a greater ORTG than 109/110.
The Cavs don't have any rim protection. The Warriors points in the paint % weren't anywhere near indicative of how many easy shots they got in the paint.
You and I both know that.
Which makes it even worse since Tristan is their only big man who can contest shots.
If you acknowledge that his shot has been off for the entire playoffs, why use the Warriors FG% in argument for the Cavs' defense not being that bad when Klay shot 3-16, as if they were holding him to low percentages?
What's it gonna take for you to see that the Cavs' defense ain't shyt?
