First, this isn’t anywhere near our doorsteps, taking place on an island in the Caribbean. Second, they can’t do anything like this to ADOS. There are far too many of us in this country forvthem to enact a “final solution.” The only thing they presently have at their disposal is gentrification and the various levers of institutional racism they’ve targeted us with since Reconstruction. But as ADOS becomes more conscious, self-loving and immune to the propaganda, even those forms of systemic oppression will prove ineffective.
