you're part of the problem.

aside from looking at entertaining television you're falling into the stereotype that males can just be hypnotized into doing whatever a woman wants because of how she looks. i'd love to know what nerdy topics they touch on on BBT , btw

:comeon:

What intelligent show out there are you watching where there are no beautiful women or women you don't look forward to seeing? Let me guess, Game of Thrones? :beli: Mad Men? Modern Family?

If you've lived a nerdy life and can think of something nerdy people are into or a way of behaving, they've touched on it. They have a lot of nerdy cameos too

BBT is not everyone's cup of tea, but I think its funny that people try to shyt on that show. That show is as well conceived and conscious of itself as anything on tv. They know its a corny show, but they like to slap them details in there and they always take the opportunity to use a stereotypical character to make some stereotype cut at some ethnic group or gender. They also use Sheldon being OCD and likely autistic to throw some jabs too. I think people miss that because they lookin at the surface, but its pretty vulgar with the jabs, just like the other CBS comedies. In that sense, they are sort of throwbacks to the 60s and early 70s. Sheldon's mom is one of the most underrated characters on tv. When she comes on, you know that ether is about to be served.

The Big Bang Theory is one of those shows where, if you like it, I totally understand why, and if you hate it, I totally understand why. :manny:

It definitely has a tendency to go for the easy joke, and it isn't nearly as smart as it thinks it is, but the characters and storylines are fairly entertaining, and I know a lot of people in STEM fields enjoy it and identify with the characters. A lot of engineering and math students at my school would do Big Bang Theory marathons.

I don't think I've ever enjoyed a CBS show when it was actually on the air.

All the CBS shows I actually liked like "The Jeffersons" or "Good Times" or "All in the Family" were on BEFORE my time and I did'nt even watch them til they were in syndication on WPIX or FOX during the day time or the afternoons.

And the ones that are on now? I just can't fukk with. HBO, SHO, and AMC have made me a bit of a TV snob over the past few years.
