It’s not just the appeal. It’s how not-normal some of this stuff is. Thats why I’m trying to ask WHY people are doing stuff like this.
The main reason that demographic switched from Dem to Republican back in the day was opposition to civil rights. Disdain for minorities is way more fundamental to conservatives than trans issues.
That said, framing the issues in wildly biased ways such as "convince them to mutilate their children" doesn't help.
