the internet
the problem is that the late night format is old and washed up.

Shows like Watch What Happens Live (and online shows) are where the younger audience is going.
Nobody wants to watch some lame stand up act for 10min...and then watch random "stars" talk about nothing and promote their bullshyt.

Yall actually watch these late night shows?

i know seth myers is nbc but dudes monologue game is :flabbynsick: and he's young guy, i think sometimes you just gotta be in the right slot or have the right past affiliations which maybe arsenio doesnt have anymore

seth solely carried by being an SNL alum and getting to do weekend update. fallon did the exact same thing prior to him. i dont enjoy fallon but his musical guests, house band, and general budget is nice. just wish there were funnier dudes on late night

late night is an overrated genre to me. the only dude i really like was letterman. in his prime no one was fxin with him. really great weird silly comedy, controversial interviews, no fx given. he chilled out as he got older but really i dont even fx with carson. letterman or a chris rock type are the only cats i really care for. overall its a stale genre.

he just wasn't funny. only one joke he did made me laugh on all the eps i saw

he's a good personality and decent interviewer though and he got pretty decent guests..i mean dude had prince on.

fallon on late night has significantly ramped up way past his on show, to now.
fallon is on fuego mode, and got progressively better and still gets better.
since, he took over for jay leno.
the tonight show with fallon is the best it has ever been, in the legacy of the tonight show.
that includes carson and leno, rather easily.

arsenio was not seeing fallon, but he should have been in his old slot after letterman, on the real cbs.
not the WGN network or whereever he was placed in the wrong timeslot on other stations domestically.
