CBS pulls the plug on the Arsenio Hall Show

His interviews were wack.

his interviews were okay, they had gotten a bit better

but i keep hearing people talk about the writers for the jokes,
either way his delivery and that wack ass laughing was awful.

I liked the show. Felt like he didn't miss a beat IMO

Only thing is instead of interviewing a young Snoop Dogg like he did 20 years ago he had to interview dudes like Chance The Rapper

yea. this is why i knew the show couldnt possibly be half as good as the original.

it seemed like he used monique's blueprint. alot of similarities. thats why i say that this show could do better on a black channel. theres episodes that people wouldve scheduled their night around had they seen a commercial for it on say tv-one or Bet. but instead, they didnt watch because they didnt know.

whatever happened to monique's show anyway?

yea, i remember this. i remember we were clowning in the thread on this, cuz it was obvious that he was referring to queen latifah; talkin bout "im not gonna say their name".

yea. we know what it is. he needs to go to a black station or at least another cable channel. i would throw magic johnson's "inspire" channel in the hat but its not a big enough platform yet.

fallon on late night has significantly ramped up way past his on show, to now.
fallon is on fuego mode, and got progressively better and still gets better.
since, he took over for jay leno.
the tonight show with fallon is the best it has ever been, in the legacy of the tonight show.
that includes carson and leno, rather easily.

arsenio was not seeing fallon, but he should have been in his old slot after letterman, on the real cbs.
not the WGN network or whereever he was placed in the wrong timeslot on other stations domestically.

i'm not comparing arsenio to any of the main cats pulling the ratings, but yeah to pull his ass of WGN for low ratings. name one thing that gets high ratings on WGN outside bulls, white sox, and cubs games. that's just whats so
