Gonna be funny to see what happens when the podcast bubble burst. There’s only so many hours in a day.. I’m not spending most of my day listening to podcasts. Tv is fractured but I don’t think it’ll fully die off yet. Podcasts, TikTok dances, and Instagram skits can only go so far.. also a lot of those folks are depending on us to pay their bills. Once people stop paying, then what?

I don’t watch them I listen to them when I’m at work
or if I’m on a long road trip or flight

I know it may be hard to believe for some of y'all, but not everyone watches youtube clips, podcast, etc...

These late night shows are consistent ad revenue generators, and rake in 2mm+ average viewers. They also air during very late weeknights, which would otherwise be dead air (i.e. lost revenue). And Colbert was the most popular of the bunch.

So no- this was not a 'financial decision'. This was a 'Business decision fascist tactic to phase out public criticism of political leaders'.
