I used to buy cd's, still got 200+ of them that don't get any play, recently found out my cd player don't even work no more:russ: can't be bothered to get a new one. I hopped on vinyl and streaming. Streaming for listening on the go, artists that drop real good albums I buy on wax. It's mostly due to shelf life, when taken care off all those vinyls are gonna be playable by my great grandchildren:yeshrug: the cd's are gonna be worthless discs in pretty boxes in 50 years. So the vinyl is a great way to pass on my musical taste through the ages:ehh:

CDs are actually more durable durable than vinyl. They maintain their sound quality as long as you don't scratch them, vinyls degrade naturally.

LPs were also considered a useless format for many years until hipsters brought them back. Tapes fell off extremely hard, but recently small bands and hipsterd brought them back.

What’s the point of buying CDs? Vinyl I get because the quality is better and I can speed up or slow down on my Numark. And I sample off it.

But I can’t justify CDs in the 2019 :patrice:

Vinyls do not have better sound quality. They used to have a different sound due to being analog, but these days they source them from digital files so it defeats the purpose
