From my understanding this is for finance purposes.

What I expect to happen is reduction on funding for certain studies, etc, that are not deemed "evidence-based". It's a way to weed out what is considered for the purpose of 'social justice" and what is considered for actual "hard science", based on evidence.

I'm not saying I'm right but this is my understanding....

I'll be interested in seeing how this plays out.

I also wonder who in the administration is responsible for this.
