Our defense is #13 over all,been a top unit since the bye week and been top 5 against the run since moving Matthews on the inside. Dallas has no pass rush. Rodgers gonna have all day to throw. Rodgers is not Stafford.

first half of the season is the reason why we aint a top 10 D. The second half of the season,we improved and played like a top D. Our defense is far from being a middle of the road unit. Stats can be conceiving especially when u consider 4-5 games we played soft due to the game being over by half time. Trust me,we have the defense to go far this year. This isnt the same ol Packers defense.
im not trying to crucify you,just your logic behind to why we would lose makes no sense(using years past). Say our defense do let up a bit and play not as well as they have been,we still have an offense going up against a defense with bad match ups starting from Packers oline vs. Dallas d line. That alone is gonna give Packers a huge advantage. Only way i see Dallas win is if we play average or Rodgers gets injured. Other then that, Dallas needs to score 30+ to win. Dont see that happening.
This is the power of marketing. The Dallas Cowboys are just another NFL team. But they have built up an image. A lot of people who live in non-football areas end up picking any team they want, but a lot gravitate towards the Cowboys? Why? The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. That's it. Ever heard of New England Patriots cheerleaders? Probably not even though they exist. Every team has a cheerleading squad, but which one is the most well known?

im not buying into the whole Cowboys = money for the NFL. The NFL has been more then successful the past 19 years since the Cowboys won the SB.

run game, but y'all are going up against the top run O in the league, so you can't afford to commit your D to the pass. I think GB wins too, but I wouldn't be surprised if Dallas takes it either. I think it'll be more of a game than you're conceding.
The way our defense played against the Patriots and Eagles gave me a lot of guarded optimism.
Our secondary is the strength of the defense, its the most talented unit. They're playing man to man with Shields and Williams playing their sides. Ha Ha is providing help in center field and they've put Burnett in the box ala Woodson to help stop the run. Clay at ILB has worked wonders. No RB has gotten 100 yards on the Pack since Mark Ingram.
With that said, the middle of the defense esp at NT concerns me since I don't believe in Guion/Boyd/Pennell against DAL's oline but those three have had good seasons considering the loss of Raji in camp. Witten concerns me more than Bryant because if Hawk is playing out there in dime, the middle of the defense will be open. If Matthews is covering or one of the safeties as we did vs. NE then I feel better.
Last year vs. ya'll we lost Shields and basically every OLB on the active roster to injury in that game. Kaep threw an INT to Hyde that he dropped. The last team that had the ball would win and it ended up being SF. That wasn't a collapse, that was a team trying to pull off a W with everything it had with 20 guys on IR
The 2012 loss at SF was a collapse of epic proportions. As was the 2011 loss at home to NYG.
