Nick Wiz was so slept-on back then with the beats. First time I heard Cella Dwellas was on Stretch and Bobbito. Lord Digga was up there playing beats and they were freestyling. This is like early '93. Was a fan of these dudes instantly. UG used to drop by WNYU a lot during '97, saying he was workin' on a solo album. If he would've dropped it back then, I think he would've made some noise.

yep, and everytime they came up, they killed it live on air... I first them on stretch and bob.... they always rocked the new shyt months before cats came out... I be in the whip friday morning, pumping all the new shyt nobody heard... not alot of cats knew about 89.9, or couldn't stay up till they came on.... i rocked with them from 1-5am... the last hour to half hour of the show were famous sessions of Sear going in on the callers.
