The pistons went to the ecf from 03-08,went to the finals twice won one and lost one then became that old team that got ran by the heat,cavs and celtics

This celtics team are entering that stage.If rose never blew his knee out these celtics wouldn't of got out the 2nd round last year

Lol, you don't think I know about the Pistons run? They shot themselves in the foot by not bringing in youth and making dumb trades (Iverson) .

Celtics situation isnt comparable, considering Boston have the much better individual talent (KG, Pierce, Rondo compared to Ben Wallace, Rip and Billups :huhldup: ) and they have a young star already with young role players, something that Pistons didnt have

Fab Melo going wild in d league and has a ton of potential IMO, Sullinger been playing really well lately, and Bradley is back Wednesday

I'd hate to give up any of those three but obviously cousins has some serious talent

As far as Celtics go, they are 15-17. They were 15-17 at this point last year.

They are similar to the pistons in that they seem bored with regular season and think they can just flip the switch when they need to and will be fine.

fab melo gonna be good... i've always liked him. he's in the d league so he can get consistent minutes and keep improving and has been absolutely f'n killing it down there. he had a triple double the other night.
