Although they are my team, I never get worked up when they are playing. I'll support them but I will never get overly happy or show my support publicly if they have a 20 point lead or if they are leading the series by 2 games. Why? Because they will blow that lead and they will end up losing the series even with the upper hand. Their habit of disappointing their fans is unrivaled by any other team in the NBA. A Celtics fan will be more disappointed than say a Wizards fan. Why? A Wizards fan knows that they suck and expects the worst so they are not really disappointed with the end result. This is not the case with a Celtics fan. The Celtics fan is given so much hope and is fired up and expects a great ending due to what they have seen so far. I compare a Celtics fan to a kid opening up a present at Christmas. The kid sees a big box and assumes that it would be something great and extravagant. The kid opens up the large colorful box and finds a shoe lace.

People like me, jbones4ever, premier, bernie madoff, K O B and King Diesel dont post a ton on the dayto day of it unless somethings going down.

Ya'll mad. It's the truth. The Celtics are can be more disappointing than a mother driving past a McDonald's and not getting her toddler son a happy meal.

But they still my team though. I am their biggest fan and will always be by their side. I just say it how it is. The criticism is called tough love. The Celtics needs real fans that will support em' and criticize em' at the same time. You can't d!ck ride your team at all times. You got to be straight forward sometimes. It what makes your team better.

Boston needs better fans.

Read through this fukking thread and look at the criticism from every single one of us at one point or another. You aint special, your not some rare breed of fan. I was on the fence about whether I'd include Sullinger in a deal, until the last few games. He's been spectacular and is off limits just like Bradley.

Team is playing great ball now, seems like Bradley addition has helped solidify the rotation and helped picked up their intensity

Sullinger has been our best rebounder for a minute and Jeff Green showed out last night, I was surprised to see that

Bench played really good last night, 40 pts between sully, jeff and jet. Avery being back is letting that 2nd unit come together and now Doc can throw Lee and Avery out there to shut down the other teams backcourt which is a great facet of our lineup. He can play around a lot more with our lineups too.

if Lee or Terry ever figure it out and are able to come anywhere close to their usual performances throughout their careers, this team will be very very dangerous.

i like barbosa's minutes too, he seems to make things happen on both sides of the court.

I was thinking the same thing. Terry has been no where near what he is capable of and Lee is much better than he has played this season also. So if by the playoffs they can get there things could get interesting.

You got a ton of players on the bench that are capable of big nights and winning you games in the playoffs. This team is deep and very talented, and that'll come in huge in the playoffs. I still expect this team to at least make it to the conference finals.

I think Jeff been listening the media calling him soft, he's been a little more aggressive lately.

If we could somehow make a trade for Cousins and still keep Green and Bradly this team gonna have a future.

We will not be getting Cousins. This team is finally starting to come together. That makes me happy. I was pretty dissapointed in this team and now there is hope they will be in it again. Knick fans can't say shyt, we have always and will always own the Knicks, it's not even fair.
