I think there is a lot of non nonsensical Boston hate on here and you all know it. If you don't like the team or city, just be honest and don't pretend like it doesn't cloud your judgement.

Danny Ainge has been no worse than a top 5 GM in all of the league since the moment he took the job. He has hired two coaches, Doc Rivers and Brad Stevens and matched them with what he was trying to do. One to manage Veterans, one to build with young players.

The rebuild has been masterful and the tear down even better. Rarely has missed on a trade if not straight out fleecing the other team.

You can be @Malta and rail on him not picking Giannis, but then you need to share that ridicule with Cleveland, Orlando, Washington, Charlotte, Phoenix, New Orleans, Sacramento, Detroit, Minnesota, Portland, Philly, OKC and Utah too.

Brad is clearly an excellent coach. Players played hard for him and he is able to play to their strengths and put them in positions to be successful, which players appreciate.

The players playing with effort is a testimate to the players themselves, period. Isaiah wanted it so he took it, Crowder wanted it, Bradley wanted it, Marcus wanted it etc. Look at Drummond this year in Detroit. It takes the coach, I suppose, to get him to play with more energy, but its ultimately up to the player himself to take that into his hands, and Drummond is doing it now.

The Celtics play, fun, entertaining, unselfish basketball and Danny and Brad have put the right mix of players together to win fun, win a lot, and win now.

If the C's can beat Brooklyn and the Warriors can beat Orlando, this Thursdays game is going to be Warriors (11-3) vs Celtics (13-2) so got damn lit for this early in the season man....

Here's the thing, the Celtics should be the favorites for the championship this year. Boggie and one of Butler or George should be Celtics. You guys would have signed Hayward and probably traded for Kyrie anyway, but Ainge missed his chance to build a team to be the warriors. Now, thats not to say they can't make the finals and win, but How much better would this team be with PG, Boogie, Hayward and Kyrie, instead of irving, hayward and kids?
