Usually they start on June 1st at the earliest but I remember in 2011 they started on like May 29th or something cause both Conference Finals wrapped up early.
I get what you saying but like how much lead do people need to travel when there's always the likelihood they dont exactly the planned cities for the finals like a week out when its still being decided in the conference finals

Finals started May 31st that year after the conference finals ended May 26th. They were supposed to start on June 2nd.

Assuming both teams sweep, this year's CF will end on May 23rd, with the Finals scheduled to start on June 1st. I'm pretty sure it's ABC's decision if they want to move it up, at best I could see them moving it up to the 30th.

How so when this literally has no bearing on the outcome. The series was over after the 1st qtr of last game. This is just a result of having a league full of shytty teams. at two teams going undefeated en route to the finals. Best basketball ever tho!

I'm not arguing that last year's playoffs was worse than this year's, and my post specifically mentions the East.

The Cavs swept the first two rounds and Toronto never lead the series, so yeah it was really bad. Then you add this year on top and a trend of the East being trash is getting established.

On top of that the only competition to the Warriors are the Spurs. So if they lose before the Conference Finals we will have the same tale in both Conferences.
