seems like 3 ball is decent for the season . in the playoffs u need:

1. size
2. rebounding
3. defense

anc yea size kinda has both rebounding and defense built in.
feel like in the playoffs you need to be able to take what you can get. a consistent playoff midrange game is worth more than its weight in gold when the game slows down

its part of why i love the playoffs so much. nikkas start postin up more and hittin them long 2's, nerd statistics and expected value be damned :wow:

Joe Mazulla should have made adjustments when the frees weren't falling. The other thing is the Knicks are a well conditioned team they are built to wear you down over time. They better hope this loss doesn't come back to haunt them.

Knicks cut the lead down from 20 to 5 and the Celtics had 40 year old Horford shoot contested threes :mjtf:

Celtics always have that one game in a series where they keep shooting threes they can't hit.

I'd be more concerned about Porzingis if I were them. He's just not reliable for a long playoff run.

This. Tatum is extremely talented but the fact he doesn't have that dog in him his ceiling is capped significantly.
Tatum and Brunson are on the opposite ends of the basketball success spectrum

one has all the physical tools and gifts but his heart is constantly quesioned...The other has no physical advantages but is extremely skilled and has HEART.

I coach youth and see this contrasted all the time.

Great observation. If Brunson was 6'8 with the same work ethic he would be in that Bron/Giannis/Curry level imo
