I mean, dudes were filling up the stats.

Philly just lost.

:manny:

I hold the opinion that Embiid and Simmons are an outright mismatch at their positions, and so I don't think Boston has any answer for them. This coming season will definitely prove some things now that players on both teams have solid NBA experience under their belts.

The Vegas over/under for the Raptors is 54.5 wins, only the Warriors and Celtics are higher. (Sixers and Rockets are both tied.) Toronto can put some of the scariest defensive lineups in the league on the floor.

Lowry, Kawhi, Anunoby, Ibaka, Valunciunas, Danny Green, Delon Wright, Pascal Siakim, Fred VanVleet...and LeBron isn't around to scare them anymore.

Was that even this decade? Other than Tony Allen, the only player on that entire team who ain't retired is playing with LeBron now. :dead:

Since 2010, there's only been two years where LeBron didn't personally end the Celtics' playoffs.
And? Lebron hasn't beaten this C's team with Kyrie/Hayward. So basically all of his wins against the C's are just as relevant as the C's wins in 2010 and 2008. Not at all.

Since the Big 3 era, Bron has only beaten rebuilding C's teams in the Playoffs (except last year, where they were missing their two best players). Not one of those wins means anything or holds any relevance,

Still can insert Baynes or Morris at the four when they need more physicality. They gonna get killed on the glass most nights anyway might as well create mismatches

Simmons was a -61 in that series. The Sixers were SIGNIFICANTLY better with TJ McConnell on the floor. That is a statistical fact, therefore not up for debate. He was trash that series. Baynes, Rozier, and Morris all had Embiid in his feelings throughout the series. Just imagine what will happen when he get switched out on Kyrie on the perimeter and gets repeatedly humiliated.

They will tower over the east but I actually dont think they'll be as great as everyone thinks. They flourished by committee last year because no one had a defined role and there depth were just operating on team spirit (worked until they met bron). With kyrie and hayward back that depth wont get as many touches and with a hierarchy defined that supporting cast could easily take their foot off the gas or be disengaged for spurts in games
