Boston can move Jrue on a bad contract and get a young player with talent and picks back but the Heat get laughed out of buildings when we wanted to move Tyler Herro.

Different rules for different teams. :yeshrug:

26 year old who averages 20 PPG and is extension eligible… for a 35 year old making $35 mil with a player option in 2027… and Portland STILL gave up picks :mjtf:
Portland wants to go with Sharpe and Scoot long term and didn’t wanna pay Simons big $$$.

Maybe Simons can lock in on defense now that he doesn’t have to be the focal point on an offense but he’s basically a taller Terry Rozier at the moment

Love this for Portland. They were close last year to making the playoffs and a true veteran point guard like Jrue should help push them to further heights. Portland saw how FVV stabilized Houston and they are thinking the same thing.

Don’t see the benefit for Boston on the court but financially I see the reason.
Jrue still have three years left on his contract and his offensive game is on the downturn. This is nothing like the FVV move.

Portland is overvaluing the ability for a 35 year old to play great defense, draymond is an outlier in that regard.

Trade makes sense if Jrue is 30. Not at this stage in his career though. 100 million dollars for a “mentor”. You coulda hired an ex player :dead:

For everything Stevens wasn't as a coach he is as a GM :wow:

Said fukk them picks and built the most expensive team in nba history

Won his chip and instantly started tearing it down :wow:

He probably going to have Boston winning a chip every 5 years for the next 30 years or some shyt :wow:
