Uncertain grounds
rondo is overrated as hell and i have been saying for a while that he should be traded...im a fan of selling when the stock is highest and ainge already missed that period of time with rondo..thats why ive assuaged myself to be okay with him as a starter...but the time is right for him to go...

trade him to sactown with something to make a cousins/evans trade work. let rondo be the face of a franchise going to a new city..

@AlexKennedyNBA
Kevin Garnett has always been good at messing with Dwight Howard's head. For example, yelling, "Paint your face, clown!" repeatedly.

When Dwight Howard was young, Kevin Garnett was his favorite player. He looked up to him. After playing him? He never looked at KG the same.

They need a 4 or 5 if they don't move Garnett, they should revisit Al Jefferson.

Their ball movement is much better without him, @Gil Scott-Heroin called it too.

:salute:

It's not rocket science either.

The Celtics will have a better record in the latter half of the season. More ball movement, less running on off-ball screens, smoother + uptempo offense and lockdown backcourt defense (which will have a domino effect on both sides of the ball).

Plus I don't know how many times I said, they should've traded Rondo in the offseason - the amount they could have got for him would've been well beyond his actual value. They could've genuinely competed this season for a title. Either that or they would've had x-amount of pieces to begin rebuilding with; that they now will never get (well not to the same extent anyway).

Spot on. A lot of folk don't realise that at all, and desperately hold onto the notion players can get better (when realistically they've hit their ceiling), or in Rondo's case holding onto the notion he's better than he actually is. His value will never be the same like it was in the offseason.

Guess we will find out how "sorry" Gasol really is now that he can no longer be scapegoated by Pringles and Laker fans. This offense with Howard as the only main threat down low is gonna be comedy. I felt bad seeing dude playing with the scrubs down 30 in the 4th. Him being in the game that late seemed like Vince McMahon type rib he pulls on a wrestler in his doghouse.

You nikkas are stuck on this Rondo overrated or not overrated shyt...

Meanwhile, as a Celtics fan I am pleased regardless of how the team gets their wins. If rondo scores 30 and drops 14 assists and the C's win, cool. If he's 10 points 8 assists and the C's win, cool. If he's injured and the C's win, cool. If he's traded away and the C's continue to win, cool. I don't give a fukk about stanning a single player.
