A lot of people were absolutely blasting Cenk due to a number of past comments he really did make. Especially women, who form the majority of the democratic electorate. No Democratic politician says shyt like Cenk did in this day and age without facing backlash. You thought Bernie should take another bullet for him because.....?

The problem is this. Those comments were there before Bernie endorsed Cenk. If he thought Cenk was too toxic he should of never endorsed him in the first place. But endorsing him then retracting the endorsement looks pathetic and weak. It is not going to hurt Bernie in the long run, but it is a bad sign imo.

The problem is this. Those comments were it there before Bernie endorsed Cenk. If he thought Cenk was too toxic he should of never endorsed him in the first place. I don't know what Bernie or his team knew before the endorsement, I hadn't heard that shyt. But I think the "looks weak" shyt is way overblown and a silly way to evaluate a situation. Trump has done 8,000 things that should have made him "look weak", to no effect.

Say Bernie's team did know about the comments. They decided to endorse him anyway not thinking the public reaction would be that strong. When the public reaction was strong, they realized they had misjudged and pulled it. That was clearly the best choice under the circumstances, the only "bad sign" is the initial misjudgment. My guess is that Warren and Biden have both endorsed candidates who have said/done things way worse than Cenk so I'm not stressing it.

Do we know it was so called Bernie supporters that made him change his stance and not just mainstream pressure or possibly his own staff/volunteers ? What you guys call the personality cult is people online and none of those people were in favor of this , maybe there are one or two exceptions so don’t post one but majority were like this is bs , not saying we’re necessarily a great sample but everyone in here that fukks with Bernie or overwhelming majority were not for doing this to cenk. Which is why I asked earlier is there some disconnect but either way that personality cult image is bullshyt it’s about who is trying to advance the best policy
