i read that shyt over the weekend and i was like donald trump is such a fukking idiot man. when the shyt went down he was paying for full page articles promoting giving these kids the death penalty

eh idk man. they not gonna admit to doing anything. i know what wilding is like cause even i did a little in 7th grade. you just kind of get lost in that mob mentality. all me and my friends did was walk up in a stationary/magazine store near our school and went crazy kicking over shyt and stealing potato chips and basketball cards and then ran the hell outta there. i can imagine if we were in central park throwing rocks at white people, i would have participated too. when you that young its easy to get caught up in bullshyt.

however rape is an entirely different thing and none of them seemed like the type to want to jump into THAT. maybe some throwing rocks at traffic and scaring joggers and bikers but to rape a woman you have to be an entirely evil sick individual.

Couldn't agree more breh, I think Trump just says things to stay relevant cause the position he took was ridiculous.

I mean from the Bloomberg Administration to Trump, I don't know how any human being (whether white or brown, rich or poor, muslim jewish or christian)could watch that documentary and not be morally outraged and sympathize with these men. The city police department railroaded five boys not men but boys to admit they committed a heinous crime.

Sorry Mr. Trump, Their past whether checkered or not had nothing to do with the years these men lost when they were wrongfully processed and convicted by the city of New York. Those are the precious years, Mr Trump where you yourself began to plan your empire and start your family, the priceless years. 40 million to be split among them is a joke considering what they lost due to how the justice system failed them like it usually does with brown people.

And to think that this man called for them to be executed at the height of this all and to find out years later they did not comitt the crime, I would think it would leave any rational person with integrity to shut the fukk up and leave it alone. This guy must be out of his mind.

Trump wrote further that, “The justice system has a lot to answer for, as does the City of New York regarding this very mishandled disaster.”

Isn't that exactly the reason why the city paid these men because they legally mishandled the situation. I swear this guy just puts out b.s.to stay relevant in the political and news scene.

My freshman year I was walking at night and turned a corner and this one lady walking with her friend fukking jumped out of her skin. Heard her say "that email said it was a black male around that height" .

Being pressured into giving a false confession is a very real phenomenon that happens more often than you think . Psychologically when you're being interrogated, you're under so much stress that you can be led to believe that you actually committed a crime that you didnt, and/or the pressure can become so enormous that you will confess simply to get the detectives to stop harassing you. Younger people, the poor, and those of a lessor intelligence are more susceptible to this for obvious reasons. Those who are more educated and have money know to ask for a lawyer asap.
