What do you think about the Carmax warranty?

Carmax has a pretty good warranty. I had one on a car I bought from there. I knew the solution to the issue but the service tech didn't listen to me smh.

I actually helped my mom get a whip from them a few months back. She got a 2017 RAV4, it had under 60k miles and was $27K OTD. The loan officer from her credit union called while she was signing paperwork and offered her the CU's warranty deal which was better than the Carmax one. If you're financing through a credit union that might be a good option. She enjoys it, but I'd recommend getting a model from the last 3-4 years so you can have the latest infotainment tech (not having Carplay :scusthov:)

The thing about Carmax though is, they're always $2-3+ above "regular" dealerships. Bascially their no-haggle mantra is costing you money. But in this market it's not the worst thing plus their cars are usually in great condition

I had an 08 Murano that lasted till 2013. Biggest problem I had was the power steering. CVT is indeed trash in ALL Nissans but if you stay on top of it you can come out alright and get your money's worth from the car.

That being said...Get a used Lexus RX 350. Most dependable Crossover ever.

I've been reading to typically avoid the first year of a new generation. And that the last year of a generation typically has all the bugs worked out.

RAV4 new generation starts in 2019.

Ahh, you smart .

Don't sleep on Mazda though :ahh: but in terms of reliability, Toyota is pretty much the standard.

I would like to but they are out of my price range unless I'm getting on that's 10 years old and/or 120+ miles on it.
