Is Connor Cook any better than past MSU QB's in Cousins/Stanton ?

Hackenberg .... seems like your prototypical QB with good size scouts go crazy over ... but doesnt turn out in the pros - am I wrong to think that? I know his supporting cast is ass, maybe thats why I dont trust him yet?

Im still not convinced Cardale will start this season - but he seems to have all the tools to be a solid QB on the next level. Concern with me is he will rot most season on the bench this season, and he turns 23 this month , and for whatever reasons he doesnt seem to yet have the demeanor of a franchise QB to me

Thoughts on Jared Goff? I see his name getting alot of hype. Dont know much about him though

Josh Dobbs is interesting ... does dude project to be an NFL prospect at QB? I dont know much about his arm

Gunner Kiel sounds like a complete hype train that will never amount to shyt (even his name makes me go )



Who am I missing? Im assuming my Bears will be drafting top 1-5 next draft, and likely will be targeting a franchise quality QB. I want to watch as many of these guys as possible this season

What do you like about his potential at the next level? From what Ive read, sounds like he has great pocket presence, is good under pressure and goes through progressions well

Does he have a plus arm ?

shytty year for QBs @Brozay . I don't see what everyone else sees in Connor Cook. Goff is all system IMO. Sonny Dykes system is pass heavy so that'll inflate any decent QBs stats. This could be a year that Cardale Jones could go T10. It's that shytty. Not saying he's horrible but the sample size is extremely tiny. I've seen mocks that have had Dak Prescott going early 2nd round. If it happens, that may be the second biggest reach after Tebow/1st round

Im uneasy on Cardale for some reason. Dude is turning 23 this month, and i just simply cant picture him being anointed as a franchise QB next season. Hes going to be 24 his first month of pro ball, and he seems to still have the demeanor of a 19 year old (no hate, just observation)

I didn't really pay attention to PSU last season but they supposed to be having a pretty good year this year so we'll see how much he improves.


I like Dak Prescott but no way should he go in the top 2 rounds. He's not polished enough in the pocket yet.

Losing Bill O' Brien definitely hurt his development, I am not trying to diminish that at all.. plus they lost Allen Robinson and had no run game to speak of.

a lot of career back-ups minus Jones who I think can excel if someone drafts him and Aaron Rodgers him for 2 seasons
