A few, we just won't know until kickoff

with KEssler being a senior, if he has a good year I couldl see him getting alot of NFL discussion.

But yeah, this year there are no pre-season standouts. But that's what makes cfb so great b/c you know someone will come out of nowhere.

Nobody stands out that much on paper but that could change as the season goes on.

The Connor Cook slander in here is hilarious. They said the same things about Matt Ryan (boring, nothing special, average, etc). One day y'all might learn that ridiculous, eye-popping athleticism + godlike arm strength are not the penultimate requirements to play QB at a high level.

The only problem I have with Cook is sometimes he makes absolutely mind-numbing decisions (see: the late pick against Baylor when he could've easily just thrown the ball away). With that being said, those mistakes are 1. rare and 2. he still has another year of tape to produce. Not to mention, it's not like he's the first QB to make mistakes in college. The aforementioned Ryan threw more INTs in his senior year alone at BC than Cook has thrown in his career. Everybody loves Winston, but the same applies (threw 18 last year at FSU).

Unless Cook's level of play completely falls off a cliff this year, he'll be a fine prospect at the quarterback position. Games to watch this year: Oregon, @ Nebraska, @ OSU

This is the only guy that truly knows what he's talking about in this thread.

The rest of you clowns are clueless... as usual.

Memo... give up scouting QBs. You nikkas are awful.

Came in to say Watson but if you are talking about this next draft only I'm sure someone will break out during the season

Hackenberg will be a good pro QB, I think.

That ESPN The Magazine article from like a month ago was a great read. There's certainly questions. He's got a great arm, but so did Jake Locker.

As mentioned, the Penn State offensive line was unbearable to watch in 2014. It's improved this year. I think we'll see him back like his freshman year on steroids.

Cal runs a spread offense, right? You think that is making him look better than he is?

What do you like about his potential at the next level? From what Ive read, sounds like he has great pocket presence, is good under pressure and goes through progressions well

Does he have a plus arm ?
he has small hands

cal played oregon in a monsoon either last year or the year before, and goff was taken out because he couldn't grip the football
