All that stuff about Coker challenging Winston was all hype. Jameis was always going to be the QB. After watching him in the spring game and in mop duty Coker has the physical tools, but he's lacking upstairs. I still think he'll end up being solid/good, but he's not going to immediately be a superstar

I'm glad i'm not the only one who knew this. We all knew that was Winston's job the moment he stepped on campus and Jimbo got EJ . That QB "competition" was classic coach talk to keep Coker confident and make sure Jamies didn't get complacent.

Brock put up 12tds and 17ints and this team still managed to win an Orange Bowl If the dude was even AVERAGE instead of actively terrible in 03 that team plays for a National title.
