last couple years someone from nowhere has shown out and won..so wouldnt shock me if that happens again

1. Qb of the best team
2. Most Outstanding running back
3. Most unexpectedly good qb (to the media)
4. Absolutely outstanding Defensive player (for more than 1 season)

Bias favors:
1. Players from big schools rather than small
2. Players NOT from the west coast
3. Players who surpass expectation rather than fulfill it

this history heavily favors aj mccarron, tj yeldon, devin gardner, and braxton miller.

It kind of blows my mind how few WRs are awarded it...
