OK. I just watched more of last week's Hard Knocks Dolphins epi 1.
Chad: "I was just keepin' it loose. Havin' fun." <----- Is that the black athlete's default excuse for fukk ups? Do yt boys use it? Are black women allowed to use it? "Your honor, I neither worked nor fed my kids last month. I was just...out here havin' fun."
Coach Philbin handled the confrontation well. Discussed sense of humor & presser F-bombs & relating to each other. Stood shoulder-to-shoulder w/Chad -- not nose-to-nose. It was lowkey charm. Guarded, but not cagey. Telling ADULT ppl what to do can be tricky (outside of the military where ORDERING adults == ok). Chad didn't have to agree w/Joe. Phil left room for rebuttal. He told Chad to expect more confrontations if he doesn't fall in line.
Joe Philbin don't want Chad's black ass there. Joe is not paid enough to hold the hands with ADHD adults. Chad == high profile fly in the ointment
