just watched it finally, it was a quick stoppage i think but he was pounding on Sonnen for a while, Chael wasn't doing shyt to try to get out of it or move or barely even cover up. probably could have let it go til the next round but i think the way Jones man handled him in the 1st round shows it would have ended the same way (or worse) in the 2nd. the only thing that could have stopped Jones is that toe that's gonna put him on the sidelines for a while

everyone saying Chael didn't try is crazy...he tried but couldn't do shyt. He was throwing shots, pot shotting him, tried to secure a submission...people underestimating how strong Jones is on the ground and how poor Chael's standup is compared to Elite fighters.

He couldn't out muscle or out wrestle Jon..and that was the match right there cuz we know his standup is ass.
