How does Bleach have a better ending :dead::skip: this is kinda crazy

it's making Oda/Araki/Isayama look even more godly too :wow:

Both Gege and Fuji dropped part 2's that destroyed their aura

Think about this @Jmare007 we've seen now MAPPA adding some extra sauce to these culling game fights to save Gege, im confident they'll be able to do something similar with the rest if the questionable things Gege didn't put much effort into, it'll be received better just like AoT anime.

How in the fukk is MAPPA gonna be able to salvage this part 2? :gucci: they may as well cash out with these last 3 arcs

Int. Assassins(season)
Gun Devil
Control Devil

And end the series with denji eating that Makima gumbo :mjlol: show goes in the rafters and everyone pretends part 2 didn't happen

For sure. At the very least, with JJK I see the anime crowd going "I don't understand wtf is going on anymore but these fights are :whoo:" after Gojo vs Sukuna (kinda like what happened with AOT tbh).

But for CSM I have no clue how they adapt Part 2. At this point that are better suited doing just films and when it comes to Part 2 they condense everything in 2-3 films and call it quits as a final cashgrab :russ:

NGL this series is so big, especially when the Reze movie came out, they just got to throw in top-tier animation, and people would probably eat it up. Oshi no Ko had an atrocious ending as well, but anime-onlies and manga readers for that one are eating that series up.

Mappa doesn't have to share much profit off CSM; they're definitely going to get the most they can out of it. Tbh they should just roll with movies for those arcs and even the Justice Devil Arc. But everything after that tho :francis:. Mappa should just make everything after Justice Devil anime original.

There are dope concepts in this series that were left unused.

One-Shot Fujimoto is like Robert Horry at the buzzer. Coulda been Damian Lillard if he'd landed CSM even halfway decent but he went with the "this got boring, so I'm done."

It kinda reminds of when Yu Yu Hakusho set up the most epic tournament possible then just time skipped and went "all your favorites lost, the winner was some guy you just met, but everyone's doing well." Except that ending happened because Togashi's back was destroyed from the brutal schedule. I feel like Fujimoto just wanted to freedom the go back to maximum weirdness, and CSM's popularity made that harder to get away with.
I don’t think he thought it would get this popular
I think he may thought it would’ve just been a cult classic like Fire Punch
Part 1 was so well written and received that he was probably:skip:
And them people saw money printing and he was like bet
Then I say by chapter 107 is when he was ready to ejecto seato:mjlol:
That interview where he basically said he was tired of drawing and wanted to just write was all anybody should’ve paid attention to
I knew it was over
I haven’t felt this empty since Bleach ending:francis:
But they were doing Kubo wrong and his body was falling apart
So I give him grace
Hell I even give the writer for Attack on Titan grace but this shyt here is :dead:
He literally said
Here damn you wanted Power and Nayuta
That’s all you getting mark ass busters:dead:

I'll take that bet, there's no way an author like Fujimoto was forced to do anything. I don't buy for a second he didn't want to write Part 2. If anything, this instillation of the story was easy/comfort zone for him. Just do themes, easier schedule, barely any editing, cash in money.
Probably didn't want to write Part 2 is bad is bad wording. But he definitely didn't have stuff mapped out like Part 1. Then again, it's rare to get a newer shounen author who does. Tozuka with Undead Unluck is really the only new one that comes to mind. Also Matsui with AssClass and Elusive Samurai, as well as Shinohara with SKET Dance, Astra Lost in Space, and Witch Watch.

Most of the actually talented ones are nowadays doing seinen. There is a reason why Araki switched Pt 7 to a seinen magazine, but nowadays Shounen editors do too much. Mangakas have less creative freedom nowadays. Outside Oda because One Piece is the exception nowadays with how massive it is.

Granted, with guys like Tozuka, Matsui and Shinohara their latest series didn't really become popular like that, so it was easier for them to do their own thing.
