I am coining this variation as the "pause" pullup
. Got the idea from Zottman curls
pull yourself to arms perpendicular and pause for 1 second, then finish the pull up to chin over bar
then let yourself down back to the middle position for one second then release back to bottom of the pullup
currently able to do 4 reps
. Having to finish the pullup with only arms and no momentum
will check back in a month with my new max reps
