Hang em up Champ. Great Career. Most great players never get rings its okay. Do the Broncos a favor and free up some Cap space so maybe we can make an actual legit run next year.

He refuses to move to safety too :snoop:

It's hard for great players to accept that they falling off late in their career :damn:

Him and Charles Woodson need to :camby:

Charles Woodson still plays at a decent level.

Champ however needs to move to safety or else he'll continue to get burned by every quick receiver out there. The elite speed is gone, it's like he now runs a 4.5-4.6 instead of that 4.3 he used to.

he said he willing to move to safety today, but to be honest i dont know if he better than the safeties we have already, i would take rahim moore over him, inhenaco was a rookie and played real good, if he improve i dont know if champ can start at safety, but knowing him game as well as i do i think he would be a great safety, he still faster than most safeties and he as the play making ability + the knowledge of the game to make a major impact, hopefully he comes back on a reduced salary and balls out

saying washed up players should move to safety shows just how irrelevant that position is

Actually it shows that you don't have to turn around and accelerate to keep up with receivers who run a 4.3-4.4 40 yard dash. That's very difficult to do, as a safety, you see them coming and and have more time to get to them. As opposed to a corner, where you have to be more reactive and quick footed to stick with em, which means when you lose speed as you age it's a big problem. So tell that to Seattle's safety's who put in big time work why don't you.

King Chuck still has game left. Wish GB kept him over the trash we had at safety.

What's crazy is Darrell Green was Champ's biggest influence and Green could still run a 4.4 at 42 years old playing in the slot. :damn:
