Chance of a Steve Francis/Keith Van Horn situation if the lakers don't draft Lonzo?

Keith van horn was NEVER projected to go #1 over duncan.Duncan would of went #1 in '95,'96 if he declared for those drafts. The nba was waiting for duncan to declare early and he never did cuz his promised his moms he'd finish college
Idk how people create different narratives like boy was literally the #1 pick whatever year he decided to come out. :gucci:

Yep, he was the consensus #1 pick since his sophomore year at Wake Forest

One of the reasons why Rick Pitino left Kentucky for the Celtics because he thought he had a great chance to get the first two picks and draft Duncan and Van Horn

I'm holding the belief that Lavar leaks the "we're only hoping for you" nod by the Lakers and that forces them into a corner with a team who's drafting better than them and asks to swap positions to ensure the Lakers get Lonzo in exchange for one of their younger guys.

Duncan was projected to go #1 since his sophomore year. I dont care how great Van Horn was; Duncan was 1st on everyone's board. As a Celts fan, I'm still nauseous about how those ping pongs fell.

Yeah Duncan was pretty much the 1st pick starting his sophomore year he just kept going back to school..

I remember how everyone just knew that no-cism but that the Celtics would draft Keith Vanhorn.

I'm almost 100% positive that they will keep their pick I don't see the NBA letting them lose this pick and their 2019 1st....I really think the shyts fixed.

Luke Walton already let the cat out the bag.

Magic already hit him with the

  1. Lonzo's best fit is with Knicks, imo.

Suns....Lonzo is the perfect backcourt mate for Devin Booker.

Lonzo don't really care for the mid range game, but that's where Booker operates the most.

TJ Warren & Marquese Chriss would eat in transition.

I think Ball, Booker, and TJ Warren would be a trifecta made in heaven.....on the offensive end, at least.

I agree the Suns are the best fit for both him and Josh Jackson if the Suns stay in the top 3 they will be straight.

I just think if Phil leaves and they do completely away with that antiquated triangle. Lonzo and KP P AND R could be special.
