what was covered up about it. wasn't the officer involved charged?

the video didn't drop til over a year after it happened. and that was ONLY cuz the city got sued for the freedom of information act which forced them to release the video. if it were up to them, they would have NEVER let that video see the light of day. on top of that, there were no charges for the cop despite the fact that the video shows that he did it. and the states attorney REFUSED to charge him til her hand was forced.

LaQuan's fam wasn't even pressing the issue cause they got paid. His parents are millionaires. Some 3rd party came into the picture and put the pressure on to get the tapes released. As a campaign manager, I'm sure damage control is something he gets paid to do. The situation was fukked up, but what the fukk you expect him to do?

The way some of you try to equate talent and determination with affiliation is just mathematically incorrect though. If Keef can have a $5 video go viral and do numbers bigger than Chance can with a $10k donation from daddy doesn't that disprove the theory that the money was an advantage?
