I haven’t replayed the album, but one element that still stands out to me is the production. It’s so bland in comparison to instrumentals he’s chosen in the past.

It didn’t even have to be that way, because Wala Cam is a single he released before the album that had really unique and cool sounding production, for example.

In a lot of ways, this album reminded me of a DJ Khaled project. I never wanted to say that about Chance the Rapper.

I truly diagree..
Its just grown man production .. it soft and crisp and I am getting Kanye Collge Dropout vibes

In the long run this album will have alot of replay value vs 90% of the trash that comes out

The album is a solid 8/10 IMO. It's long, there's definitely weak joints (Ballin Flossin immediately comes to mind for me), but there's a lot of classic Chance in here. High Points for me are:

Do You Remember
We Go High
Big Fish
Sun Come Down
5 Year Plan
Town on the Hill
Zanies and Food

How does piff like this not make the album?

...but shyt like this does

There's more songs that just don't sound that good or polished. It's just perplexing for me to have heard dope ass tracks in the last 12 months from breh, and the album has so many 'ok' forgettable songs on it.

It’s 2019. Why put those on album when they’ve been out for months

There’s are about 12 songs on here that I really fukk with and that’s good enough

I'm sure that all of the songs on the album weren't made recently. Artists typically have a ton of songs to work with when they are making an album...

Especially someone like Chance who takes his time with each release. I'm suggesting that he should have released some of the weaker tracks from the album instead of the ones he put out early.

Plus... Everybody hasn't heard those tracks he put out and they would have improved the album overall in my opinion.

I don't vibe with chance and he may or may not be a plant. This album probably not even that good...but there's some suspect shyt nikkas either be saying or implying about this album and where chance is at in his life. I seen some nikkas talking about chance should go back to being a drug addict or divorcing his wife or some shyt so he can be emo again, and make something like Acid Rap again.

Really makes me wonder about some nikkas :martin:
