I don't watch many of this cacs reviews, but his points were pretty accurate. This album was all over the place. I can't completely pan it with a 0 out of 10 but yeah, I understand why folks will shyt all over this album. Easily one of the most disappointing releases from an artist that I follow in years.
Fantano is a metal dude at heart. No chance he was gonna fukk with this album.
That said, this album is still aggressively bad and I'm enjoying watching outlets talk around how bad it is.

I don't normally watch Fantano reviews, but he captured my thoughts on The Big Day pretty well.
I'll usually give albums credit if they at least give me one or two songs that I want to listen to again. The Big Day has zero such songs, which he points out.

Sat with this album again today and it's still not clicking for me.
Very inconsistent album, and there's too many songs on this that are easy to skip. It's sonically polarizing, cause I'll be like wtf was this bullshyt song and then the next one will be fire or vice versa
Overall it's mediocre and I've defended Chance more than anybody on this board over the years.
Yeah, I'm probably one of his biggest defenders on here. Album is a chore for me at this point. a bunch of stuff he's thrown away over the last 3 years is better that 90% of this album.
Like he got his God bars off and still made a super hard song with My Peak, but then bushed it.(I know the mastered version came out but he let king louie throw that trash ass verse on it so I'd rather listen to the instagram version lol). An album in this vibe would have destroyed, but he went too far the other way.
