That nikka Courtdog was telling this fine community how sony never said a word about how PSN was upgraded. They never explained how sony recovered PSN from the hackers. The keys in the wild meant they needed to create a whole new PSN (which they didn't do)

These very important questions were sent to a kennel somewhere. And now the majority of this community is at risk and starved thee fukk out.

I'll just make a quick call, and my bank will go
They even give out temp cards at the bank, so I wouldn't miss a step if XBL was ever to get hacked like PSN (which I'm not anticipating)

HIJACKING THE TOP COMMENT. PLEASE READ. I wanted to get the truth out before the thread gets inundated in a tide of "OMGWTF Sony, again" and "WTF are we paying you for" comments.

Many people have mentioned that they've tried logging in unsuccessfully to many of the accounts or pointed out that many of the passwords don't meet Sony's PSN password policies. This doesn't really tell us much, as it's possible that users have changed their passwords since the information was "hacked" or that the accounts are old and the passwords have been grandfathered in from before those policies were implemented.

A much better test that I've been performing is checking to see if the accounts actually exist in the first place. This is easily done by copying down the account email address, heading over to Sony's PSN account creation page, pasting the email into the account address bar and seeing if the red warning message appears telling you "An account with this e-mail address already exists. If you created an account on a PlayStation® system, it can be used to Sign In."

So far, out of more than two dozen emails taken randomly from their supposed list of Playstation Network accounts, NOT A SINGLE ONE has actually existed. They've all been available for creation.

What does this mean? It means these "DERP" guys are full of shyt. Sony's servers were not compromised. None of this information was gathered from any Sony server, because most (if not ALL) of the accounts don't even EXIST on Sony's servers. If any of the accounts are actually legit, I would wager that they were compromised through good old fashioned phishing attempts with the rest being made up to pad the list out. These guys didn't hack shyt. They either made up most of those accounts themselves or (and I really hope this is the case) bought them from someone else who scammed them like the idiots they are. They lost any shred of credibility they might have had by releasing this list, as it's easily verifiable by anyone that it's a bullshyt cry for relevance.

So a post on reddit says Anon can't hack PSN, a place they hacked not only the time we allknow about. But this year they did it
But now since its a new story, and a reddit post said its not true. I guess that means sony has security in place

Then again, when PSN went down and 77million accounts were compromised. Sony waited 7 days before they told everyone
They then offered LBP and Infamous and the stans looked the other way

They'll offer Knack+ and you nikkaz will forget this ever happened
