Word is that Hayward would've taken less to play in Indiana. And the Pacers wanted him. But fukkboy Ainge was trying to play hardball instead of taking a good deal, Indiana wasn't going for it, and Hayward took the Charlotte offer instead of waiting for Ainge to stop bluffing. Could've got a starting center and a shooter off the bench while still having the MLE to work with, instead we just get flabby ass Paul Millsap.

:leostare: have you seen this dude play

obviously not :mjlol:

a lot of guys historically get a bag & then fall off. I can see him holding some value as he will be a FA next offseason & it will be his last shot, prob in life, at a nice contract

he was very much skilled in Portland, his skills didn't deteriorate. He's dealt with injuries, losing & no incentive to excel.

that said, I'd only want him as my 8th or 9th man.

unfathomable he didn't flip Hayward, for a younger, veteran shot blocking, stretch 5

I wanted him fired years ago, but after he hit on Tatum and made some other good moves I started giving him the benefit of the doubt. Now I realize I was right all along :wow:
