saying Black Lives Matter isn’t saying “America is racist”
We have to say Black Lives Matter because some people think that Black Lives Don't Matter.
And. Those people who we have to remind that Black Lives Matter are racists.
You might argue that there are very few racists in America, but when the cop kills that Black kid, the court and the media and public opinion and every mechanism that applies allows for the racist cop to get away with murder.
Which suggests the racism is much deeper than a few bad apples.

This is the trap you want politicians to fall into. They gain nothing from repeating that other than you moving the goalposts into this realm where you know it’s costing them but you don’t care unless they literally use the language they use.
