I don't know why people are saying you expect this from a singer when the only people who talk this type of talk in real life are usually certified goons who will be dead or in jail in a few years.

I like that song No New Friends, I don't think Drake meant it like REALLY no new friends, its probably the beef he has with The Weeknd or certain ppl in Toronto. Its funny how everyone always takes everything Drake says so literally just to find a reason to hate. Do you nikkas take when these dudes talk about killing everyone in sight serious? Charlamagne just don't like Drake, clearly. What about the the 3rd grade ravioli raps dudes like Jeezy, 2chain n shyt spit that he loves to ride, lol cmon son.

nikka talking about feminine look at this dude name though, "Charlamagne" LOL. Sounds like a transexual hair dresser.

"fukk a fake friend, where your real friends at"

i swear i said the exact same shyt the first time i heard that bar. "this is how girls talk, men don't say shyt like that". :russ:, that shyt sound like a tweet from a 14 year old valley girl after her best friend Marsha spreads a vicious rumor about what happened with her and Bobby Alston behind the bleachers at the Woodlawn High Cotillion on Saturday night. this nikka Drake got a clit bro.

:wow: at this imagery.

:blessed:

He's got one hell of a point. I've NEVER heard any man just come out and say, "Nope...I don't need new friends...I got my down from day one friends here!!"

it's actually a pretty common thing for real street nikkas to say, but like another dude said those dudes usually aren't exactly the most successful or they end up in jail or dead.

no this is not a common thing for street nggaz to say...they simply say that not fckn with so and so right now for whatever reason...and lol street nggas have to network just like anybody else only they have to be way more selective...thank you charlemagne and foh Drake...and Drake stole lil reese's wave anyway after doing that remix with him...

I had been said that Hook is so gay... especially the way he sings it.

I get the idea of staying down with ya day 1 one potnas, but I just felt like it was half assed excuted... The No New Friends angle seems like he was trying to make it a new saying like YOLO or some shyt....

No new friends drops then he does a remix with the Migos... Am I to assume he been down with them since day 1? :pachaha:

The slogan or the meaning behind it isn't in itself that feminine...but you know with drake, this is the nikka who made back that azz up sound feminine :heh:

Yeah the hook doesn't really make sense.

But I think he's separating friends and friends.
There is people like Wayne, people like Cole then his day #1 Toronto nikkas who ain't letting anyone in.

It also sounds corny when Drake says it, but rappers been saying "I don't fukk with nikkas", "I might bark at the X, or spit at the Lox, but other than that I don't be fukkin with cats" and on and on. It's been said in hiphop forever, but a bit more "street".
