How the heck have you guys tried to spin this on Charlemagne? Maybe he doesn't know Combat's family or does not have a direct line of contact with them which is why he did the appropriate thing and fell back.

I’m not trying to stick up for Rosenberg I hate that idiot as much as the next guy but SOMEONE leaked the info from the hospital (I assume this happened in hospital) or else he was at home with someone and they told the media first instead of his family. He wasn’t dating Yee or anything like that as far as I know so how was she the one to tell CTG? How did she find out? Like someone else said radio personalities are up early like 4AM or so, to be up on the radio by 6AM. He probably passed around late night/early morning and they probably couldn't reach the family that early because they probably weren't awake. Rosenberg tweeted it at 7am, that's pretty early.

More than likely they saw a bunch of text or missed phone calls that happen when a loved one dies. That’s a fact. Charlamagne does all of this for attention. He’s upset he didn’t get the traction from being the first to put it out. Just like you mentioned, we’ll see how much he cares about his family when the rubber meets that road.

Breh......it’s common courtesy to wait for the family to announce a death on social media.

Imagine you checking your Facebook and you seeing 100 notifications saying “sorry for the loss of your mother”


You aren’t in a appropriate place or state of mind to take in that news.

What’s worse is now there is 100 people passing around information, speculating, now your mommas whole business is on is out in the open. Maybe you didn’t want anyone to know she was dope fiend.


It’s better for someone close to you to pull you aside and tell you everything that happend, so you can decide what info to withhold and share with the public.


Maybe Rosenberg didn’t know, but its respectful to check first.
