There is no perception going on here. There is no mind games either. Racism is real and affects "innocent" black people and is backed up by stats. The downplaying of racism doesnt work anymore because we have actual facts to back it up.

Of course when you deny racism you get faced with insults because being an actual victim of racism is not a pleasant experience. If you got into an accident and broke your arm and someone downplayed the pain as not much you would react negatively too. Sir its a fact that black people have to work twice as hard to get where they are at compared to all white people. That goes for black people in middle and upper class.
