Given that i'm only talking about black-on-black crime. I think it's a little closer to 4. Blacks contribute to the murder rate at about 4 times as much as their population suggests. You can do the calculation for other races, but I have done that on this forum enough times, and I know all other races are close to 1:1 (murder rate/ population rate), with asians being 1: 1>x>0

What does any of this have to do with why NYC needs stop and frisk, when its a failure and NYC already had record low crime in black neighborhoods at its start?

Everyone knows black people commit more crimes, that doesn't warrant violating our rights, no matter how much you want the govt to do that

Huh? Racial profiling makes perfect sense quantitatively.

If blacks are 4 times as likely to commit crimes, then the cops should focus their efforts on stopping blacks as a priority.

It's really simple. Let's say it costs 1 dollar to pull someone over, and an arrest+conviction leads to 2 dollars in funding due to performance statistics or something. Let's say that there are only 2 races white and Black. Pulling over whites leads to .25 arrests while pulling-over blacks leads to .75 arrests. Do the math. If costs the same to pull over and make arrests, but the probability of success is higher with one group, then the cops have a huge incentive to pull over blacks when faced with budget and time constraints.

I appreciate all the black people in here that tried to stand up for our people in general and on this stop n frisk shyt.....but once again, ignorant nikkas put this shyt on us. I'll be waiting for those that will say "bu bu but just because some act that way doesn't mean it should reflect on all of us". Well guess fukkin what, it does. Like I said in another thread, its a shame but even I stereotype a lot of black people. Not because I want to, but because what else am I to expect from a group of young nikkas with their pants saggin, standing on the corner being loud for no apparent reason? Or in the middle of a grocery store and a nikka walks by with the music from his phone loud as hell, singing every ignorant lyric, just not caring who's around? Or like the dude at my job always talkin "nikka" this and that around a bunch of CACs everyday, knowing the word is offensive to most. That shyt makes anybody around uncomfortable. Every time I ride through my own neighborhood I have that Bersa Thunder on my lap because my own people are dumb enough to try me. Its a fukkin shame, but it is what it is. As much as I can't stand a cop, how can I even blame them?
