Jay is right that it's passed kneeling. The kneeling was great to bring awareness but now actual changes are needed to be made in the manner and attitude of policing and sentencing these murderers who kill people unjustly. It's been going on a long time. Anybody who can make genuine strides in helping stop the unjust treatment should.

Now Jay-Z, I'm not gonna judge him until this plays out either way, if it's looked at as an opportunity for himself that is wack and he'd lose respect, if it's genuinly trying to make a positive difference for the people by using his influence to try and make some change then that's very positive. Will have to see how it plays out over time.

NFL only cares about the money and keeping you focused on watching sports rather than paying attention to the more important current events. Sports entertainment will never fix corrupted juridical system. Like damn near every country in this world has corrupted judges. Only we can solve this problem, having more unity in our neighbourhoods, better monitoring. Something like that. Something where judges would have no chance but to give a punishment those cops deserve, so other pigs would stop abusing their powers because most of them got families to feed also.

NFL is just gonna do some publicity stunt that's all...and bringing in Jay-Z to NFL means possibly more international fans checking out football (even if they don't know the game rules that well they may tune in because of music artists they like), so in other words they will swap those boycotting fans with new fans thanks to Roc Nation popularity :mjpls:

:mjlol: this is what happens when you idolize rappers
You know what the difference between jay and Kaep is? Kaep gave up his job to stand up for something he believes in. You think jay would ever in his life do that? He just sold out to the damn NFL just so he can put himself in a position for ownership

Word! Jay-Z wouldn’t sacrifice his money/career like Kaep.

A lot of talk in here about Kap "sacrificing" his career. Do you really think Kap thought when he was kneeling that it would result in him not being able to get work in the league? Before you say yes, REMEMBER, when that season was over, Kap OPTED OUT of his deal which would have paid him $14.5 milly the next year. His contract was actually good thru 2020. He thought he could get a better deal the next year. He didn't count on the MASS IGNORANCE AND RACISM of Americans who failed to realize he was doing exactly what is supposed to separate America from other countries - the right to peaceful protest. I actually don't believe ALL the owners cared that much about the kneeling itself. Of course some of them are racist ignorant b*stards and that was their primary reason for blackballing him. But what they ALL did care about was the potential lost $$$ from those angry ignorant fans.who were crying like little bytches,

U 100% right. And like I said a million times over the past two days. The NFL ain’t the nba. Kap ain’t that good enough in the owners eyes to outweigh the press that will come their way. Now if Kap was playing like SB Kap while kneeling. He would have got a 100 million dollar deal from someone easy.

I know I'm in the minority in believing activism isn't the only reason he's out of football.

He opted out, though he was likely to get cut anyway. I really wish he would've stayed and forced the team's hand. I think he believed he was a better qb than his production showed. At that time I didn't think he was a top-tier qb nor a consensus starter based on his play style.

I do think kneeling played a part, but only in addition to talent. Russell Wilson or Cam Newton could've started this movement and would still be in football. I think it's terrible that his protest contributed to him being out of the league. But like mentioned, owners don't feel like dealing with "the drama" for a player that likely wouldn't be that much of a difference maker
