Latinos shouldn’t say it. If you Latino and lived in a majority black neighborhood and went to majority black schools, u start saying that shyt out of ignorance cause you get called nikka all day and that shyt just gets engraved in your vocabulary and you don’t even know the history behind the word. When you get older though as a Latino you should make a conscious effort to stop saying it once you learn the history behind it.

It's just too tricky to "police" and say who shouldn't say it, especially nowadays with more and more mixed couples making kids. How can people tell Logic, Drake, Lonzo, Miguel, Vin Diesel, Maxwell, Carmelo Anthony, AZ, LLoyd Banks (you get the picture) not to use it. They are all mixed with black roots in their bloodline. Easiest way is to just get rid of the word IMO.

Yeah I know there are black people in East Elmhurst more so than the other neighborhoods.

But I've been to Jackson Heights and Corona many times and I see very few black people when I'm there. I took a long walk through Corona the other day and saw almost nothing but Hispanic people. Maybe there are other parts where there are more black people, but to me it's not a "black and Latino" neighborhood the way Easr Harlem is.

Corona used to have a lot of black people and Dominicans back in the day but they all moved. There's still a few of them left but there's Mexicans/South Americans more than anything now.
