You can't discount that some of them are racist though, however well they get along with black people

Sometimes it's just little ignorant thoughts that don't get challenged, but those are the thoughts that keep the train moving with shyt like that

This is very true but you have that amongst us (blacks) themselves here. Honestly it’s like one big conundrum, but I will say that through all the divides our communities have, we find a way to stick together when shyt gets tough (blacks/Latinos)

But European features do not dominate anyone in my immediate family

We look Dominican :manny:
so your what are your features African?

So what you are is a "Me no black papi":mjpls:

That's the truth. I come from basically the border of Corona, Jackson Heights, and East Elmhurst. We basically all live together, but that also includes NYC Americanized (mostly AA/carribean/latino/regular American entertainment/everything else culture) other types of hispanics, whites, asians, Asian/dutch oriented West Indians, some whites and other differently mixed kids)

I can't speak on black relations or anything black in general but there's a lot of people who have just grown up with it ingrained in them

And then when you get to the immigrants who come and hear it so normalized it just kinda gets out of control

I actually wanna make that my IG account with a picture I seen of White Sammy Sosa doing a dab

I respect black people too much to claim their experience

I just know where I'm influenced

But we do in my family acknowledge that while Europe is in our bloodline we are people of Africa

:youngsabo:

Just the other day over lunch my parents exclaimed their love for O.J. in a Ruby Tuesday because he beat white people at their own game

Not saying that like it's some consolation, but we don't like white people and their establishment

Thus, if there is a latino that denies being black, there are black people out here that will be quick to check on them on how they actually ARE black...

...but then, if there's a latino that does try to embrace it, there are black people out here that will be quick to go, "What are you doing? You're not black. Do your own thing."

This is completely correct and if you’re afro Latino, I can almost guarantee you will come across this argument more than once in your life. If you’re from somewhere with a high amount of black Latinos AND African-Americans or 1st and 2nd gen. black immigrants, it will happen constantly.

I mean, just look at the whole Amara La Negra situation from Love & Hip Hop. Here you had this woman who’s clearly black as hell and people were REALLY trying to argue she wasn’t black. Logic just completely goes out the fukking window with some people when they want to prove a point :gucci:

if that is how "spanish" people react to somebody telling them not to use the word then they definitely shouldnt be allowed to use the word...how would it look if i got mad or violent when a "spanish" person told me not to call them a spic?...
Latinos never redefined the word into a common form of address though...

Pun was saying it since he came out.

NORE

Joe

Cuban Link, etc.

First latinos are considered black by the Coli, now they aren't? Make up your mind you nerds. I agree with CTG, you motherfukkers only come out of your caves when its someone you don't like. And cut out all that West/East coast talk, because Pun hung out with both sides. Tupac and Big included. So if they didn't have any problems whatsoever with it, you dorks need to be quiet.

nikka I'm from the A.... and I'm really from the A forreal forreal, not no suburb, my address say ATLANTA. And trust me, Mexicans do not say the N-word.
And Kap-G is not an accurate depiction of Mexicans in Atlanta... Mexicans here are like average Mexicans in Mexico... just mexicans. They not swagged up like that, and if they are something is off, like they outfit may be right, but they wearing phat farm shoes, or some weird shyt.

Anyway back to the topic.. Mexicans cannot say the N word.... Puerto Ricans and Dominicans get a pass cause most of them are Black, and if they aren't black they have Black somewhere down the line, whether they acknowledge it or not.
This whole part here is PURE GOLD

Born and raised in Atlanta

Kap G - Wikipedia

bonus points for the in "bbbut in Chicago " crowd video has chief keef

am gonna guess your response

Bbbbbbbbbbbut never heard of this guy
Bbbbbbbbbbbut he won't come to xyz super dooper goon block

(fyi solo purpose of my post is to prove how silly the city e-gangster word police are. Non blacks shouldn't use the word)

And Lil Durk just did a song with Cambodian rapper Stupid Young where he says the N word.

As far as Kap G though, he hasn't said the N word in his recent songs as far as I know.

That's definitely not a black area in my opinion, seems like mostly Latinos and Asians
