Corona and east elmhurst have significant black populations

Idk what the percentages are but there’s definitely black people in those areas

Actually I was driving through a part of east elmhurst the other day that I never been and came across this real nice area

shyt looked surburban for real

Reminded me of the type of neighborhoods you used to see in the kid and play movies

And I think kid n play actually are from east elmhurst if I’m not mistaken so maybe they were trying to simulate this area in the movie

Yep they from the Hurst. Now moreso than ever it is gentrified like hell

In NY you’re grouped together as Spanish nikkaz— that’s Dominican and Puerto Rican’s. Most of us grew up together, I know it’s different in other places, but don’t come up here and try to regulate our shyt.

Culturally, we all grew up on the same blocks and went to the same school. Govt. grouped blacks (Caribbean), Dominicans and Puerto Rican’s as the same. Funnily enough, Mexicans had it the worst cause they would get clowned by all three of them.

Nobody is trying regulate anything y’all do. If you’re going to let white Latinos call you nikka, that’s your choice. Don’t bother me none.

Just like I can’t be upset at you for letting a spanish white call you nikka or “boii”, don’t get mad at the rest of us who cringe and feel a certain type of way about the Mexican using the n word.

Mexicans in NY hang out with other Mexicans. I’ll leave the conversation at that, cause I have honestly never heard them say nikka. I always thought that was a West-Coast issue

Like until 69 said that shyt.

Run around Bushwick or Dykman and try to start static with any spanish person over saying the N word :mjlol:

nikkas been cool with that shyt for decades, no one cares :lolbron:
Jesus Christ.Ny negroes are thee softest. Always running around yelling about "im from ny" yet let non blacks disrespect you to your face while claiming to be "no black papi." Have some pride and grow a pair.

I remember some pr kid we knew since elementary called my boy that in high school thinking we was all cool so he might as well say it too...dude stopped him right in his tracks and was like "dont ever call me that again. You're not black."

Bunch of juelzes in ny. Bbbbut we grew up with each other. Stfu. Tekashi white as all hell and yall talmbout he mixed smmfh

So one person :stopitslime:

In NYC y’all say that pretty much all Latinos say it. I’m saying that they don’t talk like that in Atl, Jacksonville, or any other place I’ve lived

but they do

there's two discussions happening in these threads

1. use of the N word which we all agree if you non black you shouldn't be using it point blank period

2. whether or not it's "allowed to be used with the NYC / North Jers area as a example, problem is the Latino population in those areas is wayyyyyy bigger than the Latino population in other cities your mentioning, so yea in some ward that has like 5,000 Mexicans who don't speak 10 words in English u ain't hearing it

but soon as you get to bigger cities i. e Chicago, Miami, LA of course there using and this whole "allowing " thing becomes laughable, yea you might punk some young nerd but are you pulling up on Latin kings in Chi? them cuban chicos in Miami? suernos in LA?

you pick a city I could probably pull you a rap video with millions of views where a non black person is using

end of the day this all becomes online goon talk on who's city or hood is the hardest over a word that someone who ain't black shouldn't use

I think Jackson Heights has been listed as most diverse city in the world

But I'm sure they mean the historical side like 70s and 80s. Once you hit 90th it starts to look more like Corona

Amazes me how hard some Black folks fight for exclusive usage of that word :mjlol: You talk about having fukked up priorities and sending out mixed signals. I'm a little bit of a hypocrite too cuz the word is still slightly within my vocabulary and I do take some umbrage with other people's using the word. I say "some" because it's understandable why NYC'ers are using the word.

Still though it's funny seeing folks on here, "better not come down here saying it." Some folks saying that don't have a problem with these buffoon azz ignorant rappers promoting that ignorant word like a nursery rhyme to the masses though. :stopitslime:

Latinos never redefined the word into a common form of address though...
i just used that as an example...it could work with anything so let me put it this way so there aint no misunderstanding: how would it look if i got violent or mad when [somebody] told me not to call them [something they didnt like]...
Ayo hold up, you a brehette?
im a dude...

I think that was charlamagnes point

“Drawing the line” when it’s someone u don’t like
that shouldn't be a problem...he want people to give a pass to a person they dont even like?!...
