Despite Thibs and his crazy minutes, Derricks knees mostly fell victim to poor landing mechanics. He'd probably have less injury issues if he didnt habitually land hard on his knee with a straight leg. That shyt just grinds em away over time

Exactly. Like Rose didn’t average 18 on 48% just LAST season. There’s no reason Jameer Nelson can be an NBA player and Rose isn’t. People say Rose never developed a 3 ball. Neither has Tony Parker or Shaun Livingston. Only reason his assists are down is because the ball isn’t in his hands as much.

You still have to factor in that 2 years in a row with different teams dude literally walked away from playing basketball as well..that's mental, desire, want to, etc..
