One day some very popular kid will make a video on his music and people will wonder why this dude never became the GOAT or a GOAT because he’s literally a top 20 most talented hip hop figure in the history between his Kanye level sampling, Tribe Called Quest level creativity while also being at his core an NYC lyricist with Cleveland soul
Whenever I think of him I remember someone punching sonic rings off him

In terms of raw talent he was the best thing to happen to Hip-Hop since Slick Rick :wow:

Nobody flows like this, nobody in the game is actually impressive its just a popularity contest now

most rappers now are str8 wack and the cats people say are the best are just iiiight

I think CH was the last male emcee I was really feeling:mjcry:

I know he gotta be sick at how his career panned out.

This song still my jawn but, in hindsight, he wasn't as lyrical as Kendrick/Lupe/J Cole, he didn't have Drake's charisma or crossover appeal, he might could've had Wiz Khalifa's lane but, Wiz knew how to make major records and appealed to weed heads. So, you not an elite lyricist. You're don't have superstar appeal. You can't make major hits. And you don't have a real defining trait (e.g. boring). So, that's why he didn't pop. Which is sad because he wasn't terrible. Just wasn't as good as the others.

Dude needs to remaster his music, everything I hear is dope but I need it in higher quality

A good compilation album and a youtube video essay could get this dude a second wind in terms of listeners
He had his second wind with NY raining. If he would of came out today with the same issues i think he would of got the help he needed. People are less ruthless nowadays they would of felt for him. I do think if he had a real second chance during his "prime" he would need to give up that sonic shyt...but as i type this with tiktoc going on he prob would of had a big nerd fanbase.

If Logic could have a decent career in the 2010s, Charles definitely could have. Breh would have gotten a song on the Sonic the Hedgehog soundtrack and maybe even Spiderverse soundtrack if he was in his prime today

imagine Charles Hamilton/Childish Gambino collab or even Charles collabing with Tyler and/or Earl
