Charles is a great example of how much image means to an artist. I always thought the situation with the chick punching him was blown out of proportion and that he would recover, but dude just kept taking L's for 3 years straight and just lost it

His Pink Lavalamp release is VERY underrated and his work from 06-09 is pretty good.

If he was knocked out I would understand but it wasn't even that serious.

The reason Charles had no success is because he got frustrated with his situation and has a REALLY bad habit of releasing every song he makes. His mixtape catalog is the biggest I've seen and a lot of it is stuff he needed to touch up or keep to himself.

All those L's outside of the booth didn't help either.

Charles is soft but he did have some great talent. I actually had his whole 600 song "discography" Up to the middle of 2011. Than I realized that he is in fact done and his schizo/bi polar disorders have taken over his mind. He walked the line of genius and mad men and took too many steps in the wrong direction
